One thing I’ve learned about forgiveness is that it’s not for the other person; it’s for you. It doesn’t always get rid of our negative feelings, but it can free us from pain. I named this piece "Forcefield (Forgiveness)," because with all of the ugly emotions we may feel, we can choose to move forward when we forgive, ultimately protecting us from further harm.
